Here are 5 ways to prepare for your big photoshoot.
Get the H20 Glow
It seems pretty simple, but adequate hydration is essential for glowing skin. Not drinking enough water not only creates uneven and spotty skin but also causes your lips the shrink in size.
HOT TIP: If you really wanna kick it up a notch, squeeze some lemons into that bad boy. Lemons are extremely alkaline and full of vitamin C; the perfect concoction for a flawless canvas.
2. Load up on Vitamin “Z”
Sleeping Beauty knew a thing or two on the importance of a good night's rest. Aim for at least 8 hours of sleep for the night before your photo shoot. This will help with diminishing the look of wrinkled skin, fine lines, and a dull complexion.
3. Refrain from Stimulants.
Bare with me on this one. While coffee and alcohol are appropriate in some settings, they aren’t for a photo shoot. It only dries out your skin and stains your teeth. Switch your morning cup of joe for some soothing Green Tea. Green tea is filled with antioxidants that fight free radicals, brightens your skins and combats the aging process.
4. Wax on, Wax off.
Make sure you refrain from removing any facial hair the day of shooting since it can irritate your skin. Be sure to not only groom your eyebrows but your chin or peep fuzz. While those baby hairs don’t stand out in your daily life, they can cause shadows in photos and disturb professional makeup.
5. Know your wardrobe.
Have your clothes pressed and ready for your shoot day. Make sure you wear something that is not only comfortable and represents your personality. The best way to look great is to feel great!
